Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Us!

Argh, Matey! The Jibber Jabber pirates have landed on shore and brought with them some buried treasures!

 

 We started by fashioning ourselves some pirate hats!

 

 

 

 

Of course, we had to decorate them with real pirate feathers!

 

 

 

Then we had to make some fancy pirate hooks!

Everyone loved singing "A Pirate's Life for Me" while they worked!

 

We heard there was going to be a treasure hunt, so we had to make maps to find our way to it!

 

Away we go! On the hunt for the buried treasure!

 

 

Oh no! Shark attack! Run for your lives!

 

Moustache Nick will save you!

 

Here comes pirate puppy to the rescue!

 

Oh my! I think I see the treasure!

 

 

 

 

There it is! The pirates have found their treasures! Looks like gold to me!

Ocean life!

Jibber Jabber is diving into the deep ocean! All of our little scuba divers are preparing to learn about the wonderful world of the ocean and all it's creatures!

 

We started our theme by painting the ocean!

Using blue puffy paint, we finger painted waves and waves of beautiful ocean water!

 

 

 

 

Next we had to fill the ocean! We did this by painting seashells of various colors and sizes!

 

What kind of ocean would it be if we didn't have any sharks-a-swimming!?

 

 

 

Our next craft was making big beautiful blue whales!

 

 

 

 

 

Then we moved on to painting sea turtles out of egg cartons!

We were really excited about the different colors!

Last but not least, we made beautiful jellyfish! Lilly wanted to check out the insides before attaching her ribbon tentacles!

The Jibber Jabber circus is in town! We have clowns, lions, and elephants galore! Come explore some of the silly arts and crafts projects we did during circus week!
