This is the Jibber Jabber News Wire. It is our online connection with the families that allow us the privilege of spending our days with their children. This newsletter is where we share funny stories and exciting events that take place while your children are in our very unique childcare. We will allow them opportunities that not every child would be allowed to have to explore new things in their world at a young age. We love to watch them investigate and see what happens as they try new experiences and gain so much knowledge. Please take a look and see all of the fun we have been having while we learn and get ready for school.

A splash of color

I gave the kids some water and some paint brushes and sent them to town in the backyard "painting" everything. They tried the water on the side walk and had a lot of fun watching their shapes and designs fade away as the water dried. When that got old they discovered that the water changed the color of somethings in the yard yet on others you couldn't see it at all.
They painted chairs and slides, they painted the bottom and then the top of things to see if the effect was the same. Each child had their own paint brush and cup of water which they continued to refill and explore with some more. They really enjoyed it :)

Best Project EVER!

As many of you know we got down and messy this week. We received some new painting supplies that I ordered. It was more fun than I could have imagined! We got paint swatters. They are like fly swatters but they are in all different shapes and intended for some messy paint projects. That is just what we like around here! We put up a long strip of paper on the back retaining wall and set up dishes of paint and we all went to town. Tiandra and I had as much fun as the kids splattering paint everywhere and making a huge mess. We were all covered in paint speckles and giggling like crazy. This may be my new favorite activity :)
