St. Patrick's Day is here! Time to learn about leprechauns and the pot of gold at the end of every rainbow!
We started our week off with some green! We made fancy St. Patrick's Day ties! We used rainbows, pots of gold, and horseshoes as decorations! It was a fun project to start off with and gave us a chance to talk while we worked about the different elements of St. Patrick's Day!
Our next activity was color sorting! We sorted through cereal to find the colors we needed to make a rainbow and added gold fish to our pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
After finding gold at the end of the rainbow, we decided to become leprechauns ourselves! We painted our beards, glued on our hats and there we were! The cutest leprechauns you've ever seen!
To get into the green spirit, we decided to finger paint green and use the fancy designs to make prints on our four leaf clover glasses!
Last but not least, we went on a treasure hunt! We found all the gold and jewels left behind by the leprechauns!
Happy St. Patrick's Day from all of us to you!
