This is the Jibber Jabber News Wire. It is our online connection with the families that allow us the privilege of spending our days with their children. This newsletter is where we share funny stories and exciting events that take place while your children are in our very unique childcare. We will allow them opportunities that not every child would be allowed to have to explore new things in their world at a young age. We love to watch them investigate and see what happens as they try new experiences and gain so much knowledge. Please take a look and see all of the fun we have been having while we learn and get ready for school.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Our favorite time of the year is here!
We must shout! We must cheer!
A very special holiday!
It's Dr. Seuss' birthday!

Happy birthday to Dr. Seuss!
This is one of our favorite times of the year!
We get to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with all kinds of wacky crafts!
We spend all week reading his stories and doing arts and crafts to go with them!

We started off by making a fun snack, Dr. Seuss soup!

We poured in some red fish and some blue fish and some brown bar-ba-loots!

Mixed it all together with the colors of the rainbow!

A tasty treat!

Then, we got to do a fun fishy craft!
After reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, we got to work!
We took plates with a hidden design and painted over them to reveal beautiful fish scales!
Then we added tails and fins and had ourselves some unique fish!

Our next fish activity was to take fancy perforated paper and wrap it around a toilet paper tube to paint a fish with funky scales!

By mixing different colors together, we made our fish look real!

After reading Yertle the Turtle, we painted our very own turtles and stacked them up high!
Look for them hanging in the playroom!

It was a fun adventure to learn and to rhyme!
Too quickly has passed our super fun time!
We miss it already, but never fear!
Dr. Seuss' birthday comes once a year!

Happy birthday Dr. Seuss!
