This is the Jibber Jabber News Wire. It is our online connection with the families that allow us the privilege of spending our days with their children. This newsletter is where we share funny stories and exciting events that take place while your children are in our very unique childcare. We will allow them opportunities that not every child would be allowed to have to explore new things in their world at a young age. We love to watch them investigate and see what happens as they try new experiences and gain so much knowledge. Please take a look and see all of the fun we have been having while we learn and get ready for school.

A Pirate's Life is the Life for Me!

Yo ho Mateys! The pirates at Jibber Jabber have had a fantastic week working on our cool pirate projects!

We started our week aboard ye old pirate ship by making our very own pirates! We designed hats and fingerprinted beards to make some very scary scoundrels!

What's a pirate without his treasure! Using jewels and shimmering gold we designed treasure boxes!

Every good pirate has his very own parrot! Especially ones with handprint wings!
It was a lot of fun for the kids to make patterns with the paint on their hands!

Let's start small scale! We'll make a little ship, some fantastic sails and then....

We'll make a big ship with big sails!
This pirate ship has been one of our biggest hits! Our little pirates carefully decorated it and Landon and Elijah took their time coming up with the perfect design for the sail!

After making a super cool ship, we had to make our own pirate gear! We started with the hats, made eye patches, telescopes and even pirate hooks!

Last but not least, it was time to dress up! We put on our pirate costumes and got to sailing! After our photo shoot, all of our little pirates ran around the backyard playing pirates, sailing the ship, and having a great time!

We hope you have enjoyed our fabulous pirate adventures!!!

Keeping busy in the summertime!

This week at Jibber Jabber we spent some time getting our hands dirty and having fun outdoors! We worked on some awesome crafts and activities and had tons of fun!

We started our week off by doing an open ended art project. We gave the kids art supplies and let them go to town! It was a fun project for everyone and we got some great results!

Our next activity was building our own creations! With some boxes, cups, toilet paper rolls and other recycled materials and let everyone build! They made houses, dogs, bathrooms, rocket ships and so much more!

After that we decided to get a little bit messier! We made fizzy paints and had fun painting and spraying down our whiteboard over and over again!

In the spirit of summertime, we decided to make some sand! It was such a cool project! The sand felt just like wet sand and was moldable too!

We then decided to make some cool straw blowers! After coloring them with fun designs, we had contests to see who could blow their paper rockets the farthest!

Splatter painting is a fun and messy project! It left us all covered in rainbow colors and looking great!

Joseph got it right on his nose!

Last but not least, we wrapped up our week with a toy wash!
This is a favorite activity all around!
Everyone loves the bubbles and watching all the dirt fall off our outside toys!

It was another exciting and creative week at Jibber Jabber!

Happy 4th of July!

July is a fun time of year! With 4th of July approaching we spent a few days working on some awesome patriotic crafts!

We made red, white and blue pudding pops! Bryce and Elijah worked hard to mix the pudding together!

We also made some awesome patriotic crowns!
Using pipe cleaners, we made "fireworks" and attached them to the top of a crown! It was awesome!

Our last and coolest project was red, white, and blue rubber band splatter painting! Everyone was covered in paint by the time we were done and we made some awesome designs with our rubber bands!

We hope you had a happy 4th of July!!!
