This is the Jibber Jabber News Wire. It is our online connection with the families that allow us the privilege of spending our days with their children. This newsletter is where we share funny stories and exciting events that take place while your children are in our very unique childcare. We will allow them opportunities that not every child would be allowed to have to explore new things in their world at a young age. We love to watch them investigate and see what happens as they try new experiences and gain so much knowledge. Please take a look and see all of the fun we have been having while we learn and get ready for school.

Let's Make Music!

It's music week at Jibber Jabber and that means a fun filled week of arts & crafts and learning about instruments and sounds! We started our week by painting our own guitars!

Lilly wasn't sure if she should paint her tray or her guitar!

Hard at work mixing beautiful colors!

Our next craft was making jingling ankle bracelets!
We took strips of fabric and decorated them with bells and flowers!

The girls smelling their flowers before they put them on!

"Look, flower eyes!"

Everyone really enjoyed dancing with their jinglers!

After making lots of noise with our instruments, we decided to paint to the sound of music!
We listened to different styles of music and painted with different brushes, rollers, and sponges!
The kids had a great time requesting faster and slower music!
Testing out the sponge rollers!

Painting with fingers!

Oops! I missed the paper and got my hair!

Mixing colors!

After our adventures in musical painting, we decided to make tambourines!

Everyone got to paint a bowl and put bells on ribbons to attach them!

Goofy boys painting!

Our last activity for music week was making fun little noise makers called "Clickety Clacks!" We painted cardboard and bottle caps green and decorated them to look like crocodiles!

Giggles and smiles all around!

It was another fun week at Jibber Jabber exploring sounds and music!
