We're Coming Back to Earth!

Jibber Jabber has come back to Earth! Last week we wrapped up space week with some really awesome projects! We decided to come back in style by making our own astronaut helmets!
The kids had a fun time with this project as they learned why astronauts wear helmets! We talked about gravity and how astronauts look when they walk around in outer space! To complete the look, we decided to make jet packs! We made a great big glitter mess and everyone had a great time running around like astronauts!
Outer space was a lot of fun! The kids really enjoyed "flying" past the aliens on the swings!

Last but not least, we'll wrap up this week with some fun pictures of playing with cornstarch goo in the backyard! This was a great activity that everyone took part in!




When mixed with water, cornstarch looks just like a dough, but when you pick it up it turns into GOO! Everyone had so much fun squishing it in their fingers, burying their hands and watching it "melt" from up high!
Everybody say "Goo!"

    Awww! Lovin the new pics :) Look at my little man. A year ago he would not touch the stuff because he didnt like the feeling of his hands being dirty. You sure broke that LOL
